*Looking for partner/s to run the boat and/or start a charter business
An adventurous lady with lots of shipboard experience is looking for the right fit team and boat.
Preference to run a low-key yet professional charter or private yacht. I have years of hospitality experience. If someone is looking for independent thinker and doer, the person with whom to grow and develop, I am your gal.
Preference of low key over luxury, informal over formal services, adventure over never ending cleaning and maintenance, easy, relaxed guests over demanding clientele who expect all the world get around them. We can discuss the opportunities with right person, might run couple of charters or other way work together to check out work/living compatibility before seasonal commitment and, most important, the compatibility of visions how the boat should be run and what are the roles of each team member.
I am an active, enthusiastic person with a great passion to travel, learn new skills, explore and discover unknown. I have a university degree in economics and management. Years ago I quit corporate career to change it to freedom of travel living and head off to the high seas to work for the cruise ships. I have more than 14 years of experience, including but not limited to interior and exterior boat care, provisioning and cooking, including crew, owners and charter guests, serving food and beverages, assisting the captain in sailing, navigation, docking, day and night watch keeping, repair and maintenance. I am able to plan, organize and run interior fully autonomously, and make decisions to get the work done to fulfil the best guest experience. I am looking for advancement of my skipper skills and looking forward to partner who are indeed happy to mentor and develop my skipper skills.
Seeking the opportunities into a small yacht that provides more personalized atmosphere, I volunteered on a private 42-foot expedition catamaran solo with a captain, where I was leaning the boating, the experience was great. My second boat was 58 foot Beneteau Oceanis /Baja Bash passage/. The third one, 68-foot S/y Simple Harmony was a truly memorable. We maintained the boat, took a good care of it with the captain as our home. We sail her From New Port, RI down to Saint Barthelemy, then it was chartered for BVI-USVI.
Last 4 seasons I successfully run a 60-foot sailing charter boat as a 1st Mate solo with the captain. We hosted at about 300+ guests each season with lots of positive guests' reviews. The prospects of developing a boat business are very promising. I am looking to start my own business with right partner/s. I have good knowledge of USA charter market to advance from working for someone to work for myself.
I believe life is full of great moments we create for yourself and others. We cannot acquire more or less of our time but can make the best of its quality.
I am positive, open minded, fun-loving, thoughtful, happy to learn, travel, explore and share. I am a mature, motivated, hard-working, responsible person who lives by "golden rule", who is going extra mile to make a difference.
Not looking for romance but right people to be compatible enough to share the space, values, visions, prospects, complement each other, and WORK and succeed in a great team.
Looking forward to hearing from you! Safe sailing!
