The past 3 years on yachts has made me want to establish myself as an engineer. I enjoy working on deck, as I am a water sports enthusiast, but relish the opportunity of learning new mechanical and electrical skills in which my true interests lie, as well as using my problem solving abilities and resourcefulness. My goal is to secure employment as an engineer or deck/engineer aboard a yacht with an exciting itinerary and like-minded professionals, as well as one which will provide the opportunity to gain the knowledge and expertise to work towards my next stage of engineer certification.
