Easy Going Australian
Hi Boat Owners,
I am a 24-year-old Australian born male. I am currently an investment broker in Sydney and looking for a sea change. I grew up on a farm in NSW where from a very young age, I was trusted with great responsibility. Through this experience I learned some key skills that I believe would allow me to excel in a marine situation as I'm no stranger to intense manual labour for extended periods of time, I'm accustomed to going above and beyond to help anyone that I can and have been taught from a very young age to be respectful of and take great care of any vehicles or machines I was entrusted with.
That being said, just because I am from the country doesn't mean I lack boating experience. I am a proud boat owner myself and have spent the best part of the last 5 years on Sydney Harbour in some capacity. I do, however, have limited blue miles but I'm a fast learner, enthusiastic, always full of energy, spontaneous, positive and genuine.
Why is an investment broker wanting to leave his job for unpaid work on a boat you may ask yourself? To which the answer is very simple, I love my current job, however, I'm sure if you're reading this now you'll be able to relate to the feeling I have, as you would have had it yourself at some point and that is the insatiable urge to be on the water all day every day, the call of sea. I'm only chasing my passions and following my heart.
I'd be very grateful for any opportunity to spend more time on the sea, something I love with my whole heart, and very grateful for any new skills I might be able to learn. If you have any more questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Happy to speak over the phone or skype.

Thank you for considering me as a candidate.
Safe travels,
Henry
