looking for atlantic crossing west to east
hi all!
My name is Fenna, 28 years old and originally from the netherlands. I have been sailing for around 10 years, mostly on the dutch lakes, in small keelboats and dinghys. Other than sailing i love hiking, climbing, camping and making music! Have been travelling around europe by bike, alternating with working, for the past three years now. Next i would love to explore the world further (without taking a plane) and sail to the americas in the new years. I would love to be part of someone's adventure and find new friendships along the way :)

My friend Fenna and me are traveling and looking fo join a crew to sail acros the Atlantic west to east.
We recently finished hiking the Pacific crest trail, a long distance hike following the mountain range on the Pacific coast from the Mexican to the Canadian border.
We travel in sustainable ways; biking, sailing, hiking, hitch hiking and lots and lost of public transport.
We know sailing season on the Atlantic only starts early spring, but we already want to try out luck.
At some point we need to get back home in Europe. Preferably sailing! We both have sailing experience. Fenna sailed the Atlantic on a 100 y/o cargo sailing ship to the Caribbean and mexico. I sailed on the North sea in winter, and in the Atlantic from the canary islands to Morocco and direction Mediterranean in February 2025.
We are not shy of solo night watches after someone has shown us the ropes on their vessel. Are social and very easy guests. Especially after spending almost half a year in the woods, any type of soft surface becomes a luxury. We both like to cook, are skilled in sail repairs, small electrics and mechanics.
