After working in a large, fast paced and unscrupulously hard-working office for 15 years I realised I prefer the outdoor life. I now want to enjoy life, see new places and meet new people in a more relaxed environment.
I have experience of cruising and a bit of racing, with 2 passages across both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans plus numerous passages in UK waters including deliveries to France, Spain, Gibraltar and Canary Islands. Ive also worked on various charter boats as a deckhand covering a multiple tasks/roles. over 15,000NM (450Night hours). who is competent in standing watch alone.
I have even managed to cross the channel on a 20M dutch barge delivering her from France to London
Also competing in RORC Fastnet and The Langkawi Regatta.
Healthy, fit, non smoking guy with UK passport. who has a can do attitude, trustworthy, GSOH, can cook, happy to get involved in all parts of crewing, can work and deal with stressful situations in a calm way, and able to keep watch on their own, basic engine maintenance.
Interests include : Running, Cycling, travel , Swimming, Diving/snorkelling, travel photography, exploring new places
