Checking in after a few years out
I am a chartered building surveyor and I am taking time out of the corporate grind. In 2015 and 2016, I obtained my RYA Day and Coastal skipper practical courses. A few years later, I completed the RYA Yachtmaster theory course with the view of getting the practical RYA/ MCA one but life and the aforementioned corporate grind and COVID took over. I probably should have kept the mileage ticking over through I site like this.
So I am on this site to get a bit of a practical refresher and of course to add a lot of miles to my log book. I am planning to do skills courses and "driving lessons" with Canary Sail after most of the mileage requirements have been signed off. So at this stage, I am looking for a chilled way to collect the miles and make new friends while I am at it.
