Chef / Deckhand / Competent crew
I'm Luca, 38 years old from Italy.
I'm a professional chef with the passion of sailing.
In the last 10 years I've been travelling and working a bit around the world.
In 2013 I sailed from San Diego to Auckland for 9 months on an expedition sailing vessel part of a project to save the Pacific Ocean, working as chef/watchkeeper/deckhand.
After that I've been sailing from South New Zealand to the sub antartic bringing NZ Doc and scientists in remote islands.
6 years ago I moved to South America, to travel and sail around.
My last sailing experience was in Chilean Patagonia, a Swan 65 delivery from Puerto Williams to Puerto Montt.
I've also a little bit of racing experience partecipating at the Borneo International Yachting Challenge in 2012.
In 2016 I opened a Restaurant here in a beach in Uruguay, working the summer season and travelling the rest of the year.

Soy un cocinero profesional con la pasión de la navegación.
En los últimos 10 años he estado viajando y trabajando alrededor del mundo.
En 2013 navegué de San Diego a Auckland durante 9 meses en un velero para expediciónes, parte de un proyecto para salvar el Océano Pacífico, trabajando como chef / watchkeeper / deckhand.
Después de eso navegué desde el sur de Nueva Zelanda al sub antártico, llevando científicos en islas remotas para estudios.
Hace 6 años llegué América del Sur para viajar y navegar alrededor.
Mi última experiencia en el mar fue en la Patagonia Chilena, por un delivery de un Swan 65 desde Puerto Williams hasta Puerto Montt.
Tengo también un poca de experiencia en Regatas, partecipando a la Borneo International Yachting Challenge en el 2012.
En 2016 abrí un restaurante en una playa de Uruguay, trabajo en verano y el resto del año tengo la posibilidad de viajar y navegar.
