Beauty is what I seek and I have time to spend. I love the ocean and have lived on every coast in the United States, even Hawaii. I just sold my most recent home on the Oregon Coast and now I'm traveling full-time. We’re currently renting a lake house in Texas on a beautiful, huge lake, but we are ready to get back out traveling. I am fully vaccinated and she is getting her second shot on June 4th. I occasionally sailed with friends when I lived in Florida, but I am still a beginner. Thankfully, I am a quick learner. I am a bit of an introvert and definitely a thinker so I'm not too chatty, but I'm a great listener and I love to learn new things. I'm not political or religious, but I also like to hear about others' beliefs and ideas. I have a sunny disposition and almost always have a smile on my face. I love to laugh and joke around, sing and dance.
I enjoy long stretches of voyage to read and write and get to know one another. I can spend hours playing chess or cards. I love to hike, swim, surf, snorkel, paddle board, nature watch, and enjoy life.
We are well-traveled and don't mind small spaces. We took a 2 month tent camping trip around the western US in 2015, we backpacked several months in Europe and Egypt in 2018, she's been to Iceland twice, we've camped on a couple islands in Hawaii, along with lots of other tent camping. She's a great traveler, quiet, obedient, and easy to get a long with, but also funny and helpful...like her mom. :) We're both excellent swimmers. She was on the swim team when she was in school and swam 4 days a week.
We both enjoy fishing and cooking and I love to clean and organize things. I am not a drinker or smoker, but it's fine if you are in moderation.
