I am currently in Curaçao and available now. Looking to see some new places and meet some cool people.
I just finished up an epic (June 20, 2025) motorcycle journey that started in Vancouver, BC, Canada back in June 2022 to the southern top of South America. I am looking for my next adventure. I'm open to any opportunities. Preferably a journey lasting at least one month but hoping for longer. I love to travel and I am willing to fly to any destination (I do not expect this to be paid for by the boat). ust finished up an epic motorcycle journey that started in Vancouver, BC, Canada back in June 2022. I miss being on the Ocean though.
I have 5,000+ NM on a Lagoon 440 in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Albania & Montenegro via 4 different trips on the same vessel. STCW, ENG1, Padi Divemaster. Competent in the galley. Non smoker that is horrible at Karaoke. Former jet boat driver for guided tours to take people to look for Black Bears to photograph in BC, Canada.
Also have 5,000+ NM via deliveries on a 104' San Lorenzo in Europe, Mexico & USA. Also got to experience a crossing on The DYT Yacht Servant with the San Lorenzo on the deck.

Misc Adventures;
-June 2022 - current 2nd motorcycle journey ongoing. 50,000kms & counting
-2015 Solo motorbike journey from Vancouver, BC to Costa Rica (15,000kms) on a KLR650. Wow, what an awesome bike!
-2012 Charity race across Peru (2,500kms) on Mototaxis aka Tuktuk aka the worst vehicle ever invented. Finished last by 5 days but we raised more money than all other teams combined.
-2010 Gumball rally race from London to Mongolia. Abandoned at Kazahkstan/Russian border and hitch hiked remainder of "race" but that's a story for later after a couple of beers.
-1996 Trip around North America in a 1974 VW Van (26,000 kms).

"Al joined us in Southern Turkey when my wife developed a problem with her foot. We knew him from Big White in Canada and he responded to a Facebook APB and joined us for a planned 4 weeks.
He stayed for the remainder of the season, 4 months or so, rejoined us in May 2015 for 3 months until he needed to go and will be rejoining us in June this year (2016) for another stint.
We are myself, my wife and two kids now 9 and 10. We also have a fairly continuous flow of guests.
Al is a very useful, innovative crew member, really good and helpful with the kids. He is socially appropriate & highly entertaining.
He's easy.
