Etienne, 61 years young experienced sailor.
My name is Etienne. I am 61, French, reasonnably well experienced sailor, who also enjoys cooking (and poeple usually enjoy eating what I prepare ...). I was trained as an M.D., and now work as a research scientist in Biology. If you require medical assistance on board, I thus have some reasonably sound notions of medicine ( although I have not practiced for over 30 years ).
I am in good health, do not smoke, and keep fit by cycling to work most days. I also ski and surf when ever I get the chance.
When cruising on sailing boats, I enjoy taking an active part in all manoeuvres and in boat maintance and cleaning. When anchored, I like to swim, snorkel, fish, surf if I get the chance, and explore the nearby areas by hiking wherever possible.
