Adventurous traveler with sailing experience looking to crew anywhere in the world
Hello fellow adventurers!!
I am passionate about travel and found out years ago the best way to go is by the wind and water! I am fit and have crewed on a number of boats around the world. Grew up with power boats but fell in love with sailing when I got my little super snark as a kid. I enjoy writing, photography, hiking, adventure sports and learning about other cultures around the world.
They say you do not know a place unless you know the people, and I have found this to be true. I am a cruiser and not into racing, and would rather smell the roses instead of rushing by the garden.

Sailed from Tahiti to Fiji on a 40 foot catamaran a few years ago and we went way too fast and want to get back on the water there at some point for sure. Lived in St. Lucia for about 4 months in 2018 on the south on the Atlantic side and looked out on the water everyday. Open to going where the wind takes me really. So hope to hear from you and join as crew. I am willing to make a contribution if that is the case depending on how the boat is run. So lets talk and get things planned.
Also, had extended sea time sailing from Gibraltar to Greece, Bermuda to Grenada, and also Guatemala and Honduras, on various monohauls.
I have never owned a sailboat, just been getting on them for crewing opportunities all over and enjoy the life. I'm good and reliable on watch and navigating, great with safety, serious computer skills and fit and in shape. I am not an expert by any means, but looking to learn more skills all the time.
Main goal is to see the world, make friends, and interact with locals and places in a good manner, leaving positive stories behind and taking a few with me. I am an avid photographer, writer and inventor so enjoy new cultures from those angles too. My day job, or wherever I take it, is in Product Design and development. I have about 15 Patents and have had a lot of my products out on the marketplace over the years, but the best part is just being creative and reaching goals. I'm happy to share my knowledge as well if anyone is interested.
In 2019, I spent 3 months in Taiwan backpacking and in late 2019 got on a nice catamaran and sailed around Guatemala and Belize for a few months.
Update as of May 2020- I am currently in Tampa FL area and looking for a new adventure as we come out the health crisis. Please contact me so we can plan as things get better.
