* Experienced Sailor Seeking Regular Weekend Sailing - South East/South of England Only *
Hello! I’m Caroline, an easy-going 29 year old qualified sailing Day Skipper with 6 years of sailing experience, around 6,000 logged sea miles with lot of long passages and solo night-watches completed. Most of my sailing so far has been for pleasure, but I have worked aboard around Europe as delivery crew, first mate, large tender driver, deckhand, stewardess and deck/stew. I have current certificates for: ENG1, STCW95, Day Skipper (Tidal) Theory and Practical, VHF SRC, Powerboat Level II, Competent Crew and a current enhanced DBS.
I grew up sailing dinghies as a kid, and have been sailing sea-going yachts for six years, completing my Day Skipper qualification within that time. I have crossed the Bay of Biscay three times, the English Channel a handful of times and have been cruising around England, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy and the South of France on sailing monohulls and catamarans and a few Superyachts. I am now back based in England and am keen to get out regularly sailing again around the South Coast. I enjoy being hands-on and am willing/keen to take part in all aspects such as navigation and passage planning, watches, day-to-day sailing, sail-trimming and helming, cooking, cleaning and all things in between. I enjoy sailing as much as I do adventuring ashore and on the water be it fishing, surfing, kayaking, stand-up-paddle boarding, snorkelling or hiking.
