Coastal Skipper Qualifications

Hi - I'm 67, retired and as an active (walking, cycling as well as sailing) and sociable guy I am looking for opportunities to explore and, of course, sail more. I was a marine engineer a long time ago and have had a varied career since. I am an easy going type but thorough and cautious in my sailing. I can cook a bit, even with the limitations of a yacht galley and speak a bit of Italian (GCSE Grade A a few years ago) which might be useful.
