Looking for a Competent Crew or Novice Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew or Amateur Crew. I'm a fit 57 yo, live in Adelaide(Australia), i am a retired fridge mechanic. I have been playing with boats for the last 30+years as a skipper on my boat and as a crew on many other boats. In the early 80 i sailed with my boat from Sydney to the barrier reef for 6 months. On another trip l helped the owner to take his boat from Sydney to Darwin, another time as a crew with an american yacht from Bundaberg (australia) to Darwin, another time i sailed from Towsville to New Caledonia. I have built a 25 foot steel boat and for the last 10 years i have been sailing with her in Adelaide waters . Iknow what is expected from me as a crew.iam available to go anywhere now.
