With over a decade of commercial, offshore, and yachting experience, I am seeking a stable long-term Officer position on a large yacht. My career began in the commercial and offshore sectors, where I gained a solid foundation in seamanship and vessel operations before transitioning into yachting in 2017. Since then, I have progressed steadily through the ranks and proven myself in senior Deck Officer roles.
My sailing experience spans numerous seasons in the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas, Northern/Western Europe, Baltic Sea/North Sea, East Atlantic, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, and Southeast Asia, including multiple Asia–Europe crossings through the High Risk Area.
I have developed and managed yard lists and held senior positions during three different yard periods in Asia and Europe, including two separate royal yachts in drydock. Additionally, I have managed different yachts and crews in port during the captain's absence and have regularly maneuvered and docked vessels in marinas and ports under the captain’s guidance and supervision.
Ensuring survey compliance is part of my administrative skillset, and I have managed preparations for yachts through several annual and five-year flag state and class surveys, as well as internal audits.
I bring a coaching-oriented yet decisive leadership style, with strengths in problem-solving, administration, and crew management. My background beyond yachting — from animal handling in zoos and the Swedish Armed Forces Canine Unit, to airport safety operations — reflects my adaptability, attention to detail, and calm performance under pressure.
I hold Master and CM3000, B1/B2, ENG1, HLO, and all STCW certificates, and am available immediately from Stockholm, Sweden or Bangkok, Thailand as preferred.
