Looking for a Bosun, Dive Instructor, Deckhand or Diver position
To whom it may concern
My maritime background is from diving, sailing, oil rigs and supply vessels, with two a year and a half at a technical dive centre in Italy, i have done a full season in the Med, one in the Caribbean and 3 months in Indonesia.
In total between diving and yachting i have completed 5 seasons, i just finished my contract in Indonesia as a bosun/dive instructor on a 45 mts, because the vessel is going to be sold and the only remaining deck crew will be local for a matter of visas and costs.
Currently i am located in Bali and with my bags ready for the next challenge. My last vessel is taking care of my repatriation, my plan so far is to be back in the Med the first week of May.
My professional diving training was done at Nautilus Technical diving centre under the mentorship of Davide Mottola TDI technical and rebreather instructor trainer.
My teaching specialties include:
-NITROX (Technical diving international).
-Deep dive (-40mts).
-Dive master.
As a professional diver i have my own whole set of technical diving gear, including dry-suit. I prefer to dive with back plate and wing in a Hogarthian recreational configuration.
Because i am a certified solo diver;I can safely go down and inspect/research about diving spots ( 250 solo dives in cold medium visibility water in the 22-40 Mts range).
In 2019 i was part of the explorers team that found the second part of the wreck “Inés” in UAE at a depth of 70mts.
During the pandemic i took my "Timonel de yate a vela y motor" in Argentina that is the equivalent of a Yacht-master coastal with RYA, sadly Argentinean licenses are not recognized on foreign flagged vessels. I also took a Navionics and a meteorology course back at home.
I used to teach swimming, SCUBA and martial arts to children and i loved it.
I fluently speak 4 languages, Spanish, English, Italian and Norwegian.

Diving experience:
-Started diving in 1999 (Roughly 800 dives).
-Cold water, winter northern European diving, extra hot weather diving (UAE), low visibility and currents.
-Norway, Italy, Spain, France, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam; BVI, USVI and UAE.
Sailing experience:
-600 NM blue water from Cadiz to Lanzarote on a 42 feet sloop (Including night watches).
-Timonel de yate a vela y motor, including internal regattas at Yacht Club Argentino.
-Roughly 500 NM in the BVI`s in different Catamarans in the range of 38 to 62 feet.
Boat steering experience:
-3 different diving yachts up 40 feet. (Around 2400 NM in diving excursions in all sorts of weather), including winter steering in Northern Italy.
-2 different 30 feet tenders with 2 outboard 300 HP engines that went up to 40knots (UAE).
-Over 1500 NM behind the helm of Alla III.
-Different types of tenders and dinghies.
