Looking for a boat to learn more about sailing/ NO Romance
Hej! I just found this website and I would love to join you on your boat for your next sailing adventure.
I have sailing experience since my father is a captain and I spent all my holidays on board of our own boat since I was a little kid. I am used to life on board, i am familiar with the daily routines and sailed on different boats so far (42ft;22ft;38ft).
I have the international certificate for operators of pleasure crafts, I know the common sail maneuvers and I am familiar with all the sailing and boat vocabulary (at least in German/partly English :D). I always helped with mooring / anchoring the boat and I also have experience with taking over the wheel and steering by compass. My dad also taught me some things about navigation / meteorology but I am more than happy to learn more about it! I don't have much "professional" experience with long sailing trips and I am looking for an opportunity to extend my knowledge about professional sailing and navigation in new territories (so far I only sailed in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea).
I am willing to learn, curious, open-minded and an easy-going, humorous and reliable person. I speak German obviously, English and French and I know some basic Swedish. I love traveling, I lived in France, Australia and Sweden and I like meeting new people from different countries and get an insight into foreign cultures.
Right now I am based in Germany and work Full time in Hamburg. I like cooking and I mostly eat vegetarian. I am an active person who likes hiking and (water)sports, especially surfing, and I am interested in photography and wildlife/nature.
I haven’t really made concrete plans so far, but I would probably be available at the end of October/November. I am based in Hamburg but if we agree to share a sailing adventure I can fly to wherever your boat is located.
If that sounds interesting to you, text me.
I am NOT looking for romance in any way!!!
I just want to learn more about sailing from an experienced sailor.
Looking forward to hearing from you! Lis
