Looking for a Novice Crew, Mile building or Friendship position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Mile building or Friendship. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I am a middle aged man with middle age obligations; I need to contribute to house costs and I have a sailboat languising in a UK yard which need a regular payments. Any positions on offer will, unfortunately, need to be paid positions (modestly paid is OK). I am open minded and open to suggestions.
I work in a fishing trawler which means I can work hard in cold and wet conditions, day or night, well, you know the characteristics of the job :)
Also work as a waiter/barman in a restaurant (when not fishing) so I am reasonably well mannered, able to deal with people, educated enough to have a conversation .....and I like to do so!
As my working season is about to start, I will be looking for positions towards the end of 2020 . Of course, if the income offered is pretty good I'd jump ship
