Professional sailor | RYA YM Ocean & YM Instructor Sail | Interested in skipper / 1st mate positions
Hey, thank you for browsing my profile.
I am interested to work as a skipper, first mate or similar on sailing vessels (Cats or Monos), preferably but not limited to >55ft.
In the past years I have been focused on delivering RYA Yachtmaster and private trainings as well as delivery skipper work all over Europe. I am now looking to move into a more involved role and to reduce the amount of time spent delivering trainings. I am passionate about planning for and executing challenging passages, work well with diverse teams and enjoy the daily runnings on board. What I enjoy most about teaching is to see how a group of strangers develops into a cohesive team, often within a very short time.
Polar regions, expeditions, offshore racing and longer deliveries are all things I am particularly interested in. I have added some previous experiences/trips below. If any of this is of interest, I would be glad to hear from you.
