Looking for a Competent Crew, Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Diver position
I'm a young nature enthusiast who recently finished his master's. Now I'd like to travel a while and deepen my sailing experience.
I don't have any certain destination I'd like to reach and I also don't have any time limits.
I was born and raised on a small farm, used to do all kind of works, I'm not shy to try things and bring a good practical understanding.
I'm not immune to seasickness. If there are irritating waves and no winds to sail, using the engine can be hard for me... but I've never had a circulatory collapse due to seasickness or have been even close to this. The good thing, I puke but I don't moan :D
I do have my certification for close offshore and I'm working on the extended offshore certificate right now. The theory is done but there are still skipper miles missing.
I'm generally very interested in sailing on different boats, maybe a catamaran, a schooner or other boat types.
I've always been fascinated by all the wonders I've seen in documentaries. So I started to travel around and I got more and more excited about our planet. I started to dive, to hike, to climb, to do paragliding, ... and finally to sail. And I fell in love with it. To see little birds resting on the boat far out on the sea. To admire the number of stars in a new moon night and the glowing of the sea behind the boat. The feeling which comes up after some nights of sailing when you catch sight of your aspired port...
For all these reasons I'd like to seek good company and continue gaining experience.
