Hi there!
Before I knew the word "mermaid" I would often call myself fish girl. The water is always calling me, and so is boat life.
I have been a member of Crewbay for a few years now, and so far have had the amazing opportunity to crew on two boats through this website. (The first experience was a learning experience, the second was amazing and I am still in contact with the captain). Also I have 5 years of naval(maritime) experience -I was an electrician, but originally joined to be in the more creative field of journalism.
My hopes are to find a boat where I can learn in an open minded, respectful, kind and positive environment. While also having the opportunity to share and grow my gifts as well. A place where I can feel at home, and get along with everyone involved. A patient, kind teacher is preferred.
I am one of those people looking to gain as much sailing knowledge and experience as possible, then hopefully I will be able to invite you aboard my own vessel! Sometimes I can be silly and dreamy, or serious and straightforward. I get along well with most personality types. My preference is a deep and meaningful conversation (mostly about how we can better the world). I have a big heart. Love yoga, nature, art/creating things and holistic healing modalities as well as growing and preparing my own foods (with love of course). My ideas are big, and I am constantly dreaming of how I can build a self sustaining boat- but right now I would like to focus on the basics of sailing, or cruising as I have a lot to learn!
