Looking to expand sailing experience!
Hi there!
I'm Weronika (from Poland), I have been living away from my country for almost 20 years, lived and worked in the UK, Spain, Australia, Canada, Chile, Portugal and Italy. Together with my partner (from Italy) we travelled for 6 years and are now living in Sicily. We have been together for 13 years. I'm an online English teacher and I have been working in my profession since 2015. I started my online business five years ago and I am flexible to where and how much I work. I can speak Polish, English, Spanish and Italian and I've started learning French too. I'm a creative person, who also enjoys taking photographs (and editing them), drawing and creating content on Canva for my business. I'm passionate about sea life and I have recently completed level 1 Freediving course in Sicily. I also love spending time with children and teaching them English. :)
Together with my partner we regularly head out on day sails in Sicily and have experienced Bass Straight crossing sailing for around a month from Tasmania to mainland Australia. My partner passed his test for a nautical licence and we have a motor boat that we often use to enjoy what the Sicilian coast has to offer. We are looking to gain more sailing experience before buying our own sailing boat in the future.
We both love the sea/ocean and spending time out at sea. We enjoy cooking, especially for others, sharing a glass of wine, listening and telling stories from our travels. We are very easy going and we don't like to complain, in fact, we are not very keen on people who complain about futile issues. We are used to travelling on a budget and we are both hard workers. We like a clean and organised environment. We are willing to learn the ropes and be useful on your boat as well as be nice company and become good friends. We love to meet people from other cultures, visit less known places and explore interesting parts of the world. We like to be environmentally friendly, recycle when we can and keep our oceans clean. We also love snorkelling, free diving, fishing and spending time surrounded by nature.
