Hi - Lifelong sailor with lots of keel boat and dinghy racing experience. Grew up sailing and worked in a New Jersey shore boat dealer/ store selling and servicing up to 40' cruisers (Beneteau, Hunter, Catalina, O'Day) down to Optis/ Lasers. Delivered 30' boats from NJ to Annapolis, Newport and up the Hudson River. Crewed on a Hylas 56 From Norfolk, VA to Fort Lauderdale 880NM all offshore Then Norfolk to Halifax, NS direct and on to Quebec City. Did New York to Bermuda years ago . Owned my own boat for 15 years plus raced for 10 years.
I can navigate, weather route, night watch, trim sails, tune rigs and fix about anything on a boat (fiberglass, electrical, motor, rigging, sails, etc.). I am a sailing instructor NauticED SLC (equivalent to ICC), have International Offshore Safety at Sea certification and working on my USCG Master Captain's License.
Looking for interesting passages especially trans Atlantic. East coast USA is easier but open to other interesting passages.
