Professional Skipper Available – Mileage Building (Sail & Motor) | Mediterranean & Beyond
Professional skipper available for paid skipper positions, yacht deliveries, and charter operations throughout the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding regions.
I am currently seeking opportunities to complete qualifying sea time for my Swiss Open Ocean License, specifically:
700 nautical miles on sailing yachts (can be accumulated over multiple passages), and/or
500 nautical miles and 5 nights on a motor yacht, preferably within one continuous voyage.
Availability: from after Easter through the summer, latest until 1 December. I am fully mobile and able to travel with a few weeks’ advance planning.
Experience & Qualifications
Certified Coastal Skipper
Extensive open-water and offshore experience
Strong background in charter operations (day and weekly charters) and yacht deliveries
Safety-focused, reliable, and fully accustomed to professional onboard standards
Preferred Engagements
I am particularly interested in professional, paid skipper roles, including:
Charter skipper (day or weekly)
Yacht delivery skipper
Offshore passages and mileage-building voyages
Voyages with a skill-building focus are especially welcome (e.g. celestial navigation, sextant work, advanced offshore procedures).
