German Couple to join your crew, helping on your boat and enjoy cruising
Hello and Ahoi,
we arrived in Baja California, Mexico, mid of January 2021 to do a 2 week cruise in the Sea of Cortez with friends on their catamaran. End of February/ March we sailed for an extented trip from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico down the coast to Zihuatanejo. Then travelling on land and flying out to Ecuador. We have been crewing on 3-4 sailboats already for about 2 months, logging about 2,000nm in Bahamas, Florida, Gulf of California, Mexican Pacific coast and are looking much forward to our next experience and new friends.
We are quite easy-going and active, clean and fun people. On our last travels in Central America (10 months), New Zealand (10 months) we stayed at many different workaways/ wwoofing places, did lots of couchsurching, spent a great time in our campervan and just enjoyed local people, culture and nature.
We put "specific diet", because Jess is gluten intolerant, but we got already quite experienced to prepare rich and tasty meals :-) We usually eat vegan but we are not limited to it.
Ahoi and fair winds!
Jess and Phil
Wonderful Memories in the Sea of Cortez
We had a great time travelling with Jessy & Phil. They were wonderful companions during our over two week trip. They were eager to learn and help out and were always conscientious about helping take care of the boat. They took direction well and were always up for pitching in when asked. They are independent and easy going but also adventurous, fun, and always have a positive attitude. Between the two of them they are pretty fluent in both French and Spanish and a number of other languages --so a very helpful addition to any boat that will be cruising internationally. We are so glad we met up with them and were able to have this experience cruising the Sea of Cortez with them. We feel like we've definitely made some friends for life and expect that we will definitely be sailing together again in the future. We look forward to staying in touch and seeing where the seas take them.
