Year off-work starting in June 2024 - Looking for sailing opportunities - Competent Crew / Mile Building
Hi there, I'm Alessio!
In June 2024 I will take a year off-work, so I'm looking for any mid/long term sailing opportunities.
I have been sailing for several years on different kind of monohulls sized between 40ft and 52ft. In the last years I sailed both in the Atlantic (Normandy-Brittany-Canary Islands) and around the Med.
I have experience in night passages and shifts, I can cook and I'm used to crew life.
My last cruise was a roundtrip from La Spezia to Corsica in september 2023, double-handed, on a J145 (JBoats - 47ft).
I speak fluent Italian (native), English and a good French.

Alessio was a great help with sailing and cooking. He was always there when you needed assistance, keen on learning everything about the boat. He is able to steer in all conditions, works on the foredeck and mast. A great pleasure and after two weeks we could go on together if not the work at home is calling.
