My career has been shaped by hands-on experience onboard yachts and working in demanding marine environments. During my most recent role, I strengthened my endurance and ability to work at pace for extended hours without compromising safety or attention to detail. A combination of daily deck duties, tender operations, and watersports setup strengthened my practical seamanship skills, navigational awareness, and ability to respond effectively to adverse weather conditions.
Alongside my deck experience, my background in hospitality has refined my attention to detail and guest-focused mindset. Working as a hotel host taught me the importance of anticipation, discretion, and maintaining consistently high standards that translate directly to providing seamless service onboard while supporting deck operations.
Providing water sports tuition has strengthened my leadership and communication skills, requiring clear instruction and constant situational awareness. Working with guests of all experience levels has improved my ability to assess conditions quickly and adapt activities to ensure both enjoyment and safety.
I have extensive tender experience, having driven tenders recreationally from a young age and professionally operated safety boats, often in challenging weather conditions. I am a hands-on, practical worker, confident in carrying out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. I am self-motivated, reliable, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
I am keen to continue developing my skills within the industry. I take instruction and constructive criticism positively. I work well within a chain of command, and am always eager to learn from more experienced crew.
