Looking for a Competent Crew or Steward(ess) position
Hello there, my name is Greta and I am a 18-year-old sailor who is seeking experience. I have been sailing my whole life and I am extremely passionate about it. It has become my focus.
My sailing experience includes ASA and IYT certifications and lots of notable feedback from my previous skippers, which I believe make me a valuable addition to any crew. I am skilled in Charter operations including being a stew/ chef aboard. I have traditional seamanship routes and techniques, and I’m also looking to learn and experience more! I have always been fascinated by the sea and I find it thrilling to be out on the water, feeling the wind and waves. I am a quick learner and can easily adapt to different situations, which is an important quality to have when working on a boat. I spend my pass time learning about navigation, engines, aerodynamics, biology, weather, basically everything I use while aboard a vessel!
I am a responsible and hard-working individual who is committed to providing an exceptional sailing experience for other crew and/or passengers. Safety is my top priority and I am confident in my ability to handle any emergency situation that may arise. I am also a friendly and approachable person, which I believe is important when working in close quarters with a team.
