Experienced crew/diver/skipper
I have spent the last 7 years living all over the world; studying, working on the water, and sailing. I am an all around waterman, and enjoy doing the same things in my time off that I often do for work. Some other (non-sea related) interests of mine include international motorcycle trips, boardsports, and adventure travel.
With thousands of miles logged under sail and power, alongside a background as a divemaster and powerboat skipper, I’ve built a solid foundation in professional and demanding environments that I’m keen to bring to a new crew. I'm seeking a permanent or rotational position with a well-run program, where I can develop my skills professionally, with the long-term goal of achieving captaincy.
My time onboard several yachts has made into a machine at day-to-day exterior upkeep and guest activities, as well as supportive roles aiding the captain through passages, repairs, and vessel maintenance. Having spent three seasons as a powerboat skipper in Croatia, my instincts for navigation, professional client care, and maintaining the safety of clients and the vessel have been adequately seasoned. These experiences have sharpened my eye for detail, quick problem-solving, and ability to mesh seamlessly into any crew.
I've developed experience in real, varied conditions at sea, have a calmness under pressure, and an ambition to develop my skills on the water and in professional yachting.
I look forward to having the chance to bring my skillset and contribute to a new vessel.
Volunteering: I'm always looking for unique ways of exploring the ocean, discovering new reefs, mountains, jungles, and surf spots. Ideally I'd be looking to join an adventurous crew/captain heading out to explore seldom travelled places. I am a resourceful sailor, traveller at heart, professional, relaxed, and good on the water. The more memorable the journey is, the better.
