Looking for crew -- novice and/or experienced!

I will be sailing a Prout 45 (very comfortable, well-equipped, seriously seaworthy catamaran with lots of space, light and privacy) through the Caribbean up from Grenada this spring -- Cuba, Florida and the Eastern Seaboard of the U.S. thereafter -- and I'm looking for crew, for all or any part.

Female only (sorry, but they're generally kinder, neater, quieter, more considerate, more emotionally intelligent, and are more interesting in conversation -- but if you're a guy, you already know this), who likes to read and think, with the discipline of an athlete and perhaps even into some combination of windsurfing / kiting / foiling / scuba diving / snorkling / swimming / rowing / cycling (please bring your gravel or mountain bike, room below-decks!).

You'll have your own nice wood-paneled stateroom and head. I'd look to you to help me share sailing and watch duties as your experience and confidence allow and/or grow, as well as boat chores (there are more than a few) and cooking with me. Your financial contribution would range from 0% to 50%, depending on means. We'll pursue an easy itinerary, manageable segments, no rush, plenty of time to explore and enjoy the journey.

So, who's this guy? I am kind, thoughtful, intelligent, funny and great for a conversation (actually, I've learned enough to be good at ensuring that conversations are, in fact, great)! I love life, and pursue peak experience on and off the water -- on the boat, on the bike, in a gallery, through music, about a great book. I find life's greatest fulfillment in genuine connection and great conversation. I'm continually finding ways to ensure that those around me find their better, more insightful selves, because I'm so hungry to learn -- from them. Nothing matters more to me than learning. It's why we're here, don't you think?

Sailing Experience:

Sailing since I was in my teens all over the Chesapeake, cruising on the East Coast of the U.S., then in the Pacific Northwest and Canadian coast, more recently in the San Francisco Bay and on the Pacific coast. Four ASA certifications, always learning.

I value crew who are confident in their knowledge -- meaning, candid enough to declare their limitations, and confident enough to advise me of a better approach. I'm also confident about making decisive calls whenever a situation calls for it — and explaining their basis. Safety is a life-long practice. As, of course, is fun!
