Seeking adventure, friendship and shared memories
Hi, my name is Nathan Maclean— 57 year old non smoker.
I'm here to gain new sailing experiences and friendships across the globe, wanting to build up on those precious life memories. I’m free to travel any time and for any period. Two years retired, I chose to swap my passion for work to find it in life while I’m young enough to enjoy it fully.
I’m getting ready to leave UK and live…. (Still to be decided). Considering NZ, Europe… Central America.
Sailing Qualifications-
ASA 101, 103, 104 and 114
RYA coastal Skipper, VHF radio, PB2, First Aid
ICC.
Paid open water diver
(Learning to kite board.)
I have crewed on 50ft aluminium catamaran,sailing NZ to Fiji via Minerva Reefs in 2024 and again in 2025. I love sailing and plan to live full time aboard when my boat is ready in…. Early 2028.
My working career saw me in construction (plumbing heating engineer, home renovations specialising in luxury bathrooms and kitchens and then VR design software for interior design. I’m able to fix most things and a good problem solver. So… handy on a boat.
I'm keep myself fit and healthy. I'm a sociable drinker and what makes me the happiest outside of family is good sociable interactions with people. Friendships are the elixir to life and its wonderful how we are all different yet the same in many ways.
