Looking for a Stewardess , Stew/Deck, or Cook/Stew position
Hello, my name is Greta Vaitkute. I'm 22 years old, I was born in Lithuania and grew up in Ireland. I'm excited about applying for my first role of a junior stewardess or preferably a service stew.
I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in bars, restaurants, hotels and even chalet hosting.
What sets me apart is that I've worked throughout Europe, from Spain and France to Greece, Ireland and Norway, giving me a global perspective on customer service.
I am confident that my experience has gained me a plethora of transferable traits and skills that will come in use during my transition into the yachting world.
During my time in restaurants such as Everetts in ireland, and the restaurant of Le montana Hotel in Courchevel france, i gained the highly useful skills of good communication and working as a team, as i always had to communicate with the chefs and other servers to make sure the service goes smoothly.
I'm also confident in my attention to detail and my ability to predict what a client would want or need before they realise so themselves.
Furthermore, during my latest employment in France I worked a role that my adaptability skills played into use as I had many jobs, my primary roles a sole chalet host include, cooking breakfast and dinner for up to 11 guests, while also maintaining cleanliness in the chalets general areas and housekeeping in bedrooms, I also had to provision food orders and stick to a budget.
I understand the high standards and expectations that the yachting industry expects so I have recently done a stew training course with Flying Fish. to help me transition smoothly. Flying Fish taught me minor details that a normal green stew could most likely miss, along with giving me extra training in areas such as cocktail making, barista training, napkin folding, flower arranging and many more.
I believe that my passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, coupled with my diverse background, makes me an ideal candidate for this position.
