Hello!
My name is Maude and I’m a French Canadian traveller, currently in Naples, Italy! I am doing a 8 month trip where I am exploring different artistic interests of mine. I visited Tanzania and Senegal, but I am currently in Naples, doing a commedia dell’arte mask making internship. I would like to continue my journey on the sea and to find a boat that would be willing to take me so I can keep on learning! I would like to find a boat ideally leaving from Italy after may 15th, but I am willing to move to neighbouring countries if needed. My plan would be to go to Morocco or Spain and I would eventually like to go back to Senegal by the sea !
Sailing experience: I have some sailing experience, as my parents had a boat (laser 28) when I was younger where I spent some time. We also did 2 sailing trips in the British-virgin Island on a catamaran. I know how to be safe on the boat and I have some knowledge of sailing vocabulary although a refresher will be needed.
A bit more about me: I work as a counsellor and I am also an artist and an art therapy student. I have been a sprint kayaking athlete for 11 years so I have spent a lot of time on the water, but more so on a smaller kind of boat. I love to be outside, to dance and to hike, among many other things!
