Looking to help Crew, Friendship, Crew or Deckhand position
Hi - I'm a qualified mechanical engineer , with engine experience with additional GRP and composite laminating experience over 30 years looking to find any kind of position as a Novice Crew or Deckhand . I'm looking forward to meeting people! and learning more . I have followed sailing and learned some things ,eg , safety and their devices, EPIRB , understanding points of sail , Mainsail & reefing ,Jib sail Genoa & furling , Spinnaker , downwind jibe , upwind tack , autopilot , windvanes, drogues ,anchor 5:1 ratio, Radio ch16. Etc . Should I get the Competent Crew qualification first ?
