Ostara will be cruising the waters around Langkawi and Phuket for the next six months; it will include a week racing in the Kings Cup in Phuket. She will then be either heading for the Philippines or Sri Lanka.

Born on King Island, have always had an affection and respect for the sea. Owned several small motor boats until early 1980s where I started sailing, vessels from Catamaran Racing on Hobie 16, to Monohulls varying in size up to the now Ostara, a Baveria 38.
Delivered Ostara from Hastings, Victoria to Townsville, Delivery Skipper and Navigator on several occasions from Brisbane to Townsville along with many, many, short handed sails up and down the Coral Coast.
Sailed Ostara up to Malaysia and competed in the Raja Muda then onto Thailand for the Kings Cup.

Boat descriptionOstara is a cruiser that can race, with two berths, she currently has all the safety gear for ocean crossings. She sailed up to Malaysia Thailand in 2024 where she competed in the Raja Muda and Kings cup. She has spent most of this year on the hard getting her makeup done and a few repairs and is coming up to having fun on the water. Will update more as the time gets closer.
