Crewing in Cork Week 11th-15th July

Looking for crew to race during Cork Week11th-15th August. The boat is an X-362 sport - 36 foot cruiser-racer. Accommodation may be provided if required. We are looking to have fun and are not taking the racing super-seriously (life is too short). But we do race IRC and we certainly don’t disgrace ourselves. Some previous sailing experience required with preferably some racing experience.

There is also some space for the delivery trips to/from Cornwall to Cork before and after the regatta, and we also planning a short cruise around the west coast of Ireland after the regatta (space available).

  • Boat descriptionThe boat is a 36' cruiser racer. Conventional (symmetric) spinnaker. We have optimised her for IRC racing, and this is paying off in our results. For the racing we are looking to have fun and are not taking the racing super-seriously (life is too short). But we do race IRC and we certainly don’t disgrace ourselves. We carry the usual gear for ISAF category 2. For cruising, the boat sails beautifully: she is a light displacement racing boat, so we don't have hot water, nor a shower on board. We do have berths rather than pipe cots and, for now, a cabin table.
