About Inclusive Adventures - Adventures are about the journey, not the destination.

We provide Life Changing Experiences for Uniquely Abled, Wheelchair Users and Non-Wheelers, Young @ Heart, and @ Risk Youth! Created by the Disabled for the Disabled ... or as we prefer ... by the Uniquely Able for the Differently Able.

Adventure offers us a freedom only achieved through overcoming challenges, and our fears. This newfound freedom of thought offers perspective throughout life, literally and measurably changing our lives as we add new skills while developing independence.

The journey itself contributes to every individual's personal development. You acquire new qualities, you become spiritually rich as you learn about culture, traditions, and history of various people living in other places and times. You begin to understand the why. This leads to an inclusive perspective on the ultimate similarities in all people, their goals, desires, and in that realization, differences become trivial details.

-----------------------

You should have a lust for adventure and open-minded, easy-going personality, with a desire to help others and improve the world. I have been designing and implementing modifications to the vessel to make it 100% wheelchair friendly (75% complete). I am a quadriplegic man who uses an electric power wheelchair after forced landing plane crash 15 years ago due to engine failure after takeoff. I have been designing and creating solutions to empower mobility impaired individuals through greater independence for the last 15 years including working with Veterans Administration and other orgs throughout the country.

INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES ARE STRONG COMMUNITIES. Mission: To empower all to contribute their talents to the best of their abilities. Give Perspective. Create Possibilities. Change a Life. Strengthen Community. We INSPIRE, MOTIVATE, AND EDUCATE THRU LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCES to stimulate a fundamental shift in perspective for both participants and the public from programmed, vulnerable dependency to confident, capable self-determination. Participants develop confidence in their capabilities and a perspective of possibility. Why would anyone try to achieve an education or contribute their talents through employment if they believe their only prospect is to sit in front of a television trapped in a nursing home or even their own home. We all need to believe in future possibilities worth striving to achieve. Participants learn new skills through the catalyst of adventure. Adventure offers us a sense freedom only achieved in overcoming challenges, perceived limitations, and our fears. This newfound freedom, powerfully shifts perspective to possibility - directly and measurably changing participant's lives, and their role in family and community.
