Looking for a Novice Crew position
Hi All,
I've just returned from a one-month sailing experience in the Mediterranean, where I was part of the crew. I really enjoyed the experience—especially night sailing, learning all the navigational equipment, and more styles of anchoring the catamaran, whether in marinas or moored on a buoy.
I've also participated in a few races on Sydney Harbour and in Gosford, along with several one-week sailing trips both overseas and within Australia. I wouldn't call myself highly competitive, but I do now have a decent level of experience.
That said, I'm looking to join another sailing trip around September, if you're planning something around that time. I’ve had a number of great sailing adventures. My first experience was a day of racing on Sydney Harbour. I knew absolutely nothing about sailing, but since the local sailing club needed crew members, I decided to join in. I’ve loved it ever since. The rest of my sailing experiences include trips to the Whitsundays, various regions in Asia, the Greek Islands, the Amalfi Coast, and the Turkish Riviera. I've enjoyed these holidays with a crew, balancing moments of excitement with relaxation. While I don't have extensive hands-on experience, I'm eager to lend a hand and am always happy to be told what to do.
