Looking for a Competent Crew, Friendship or Mile building position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm a 64 year old but being a keen cyclist and runner I am fit and agile. I'm married but sailing isn't quite my wife's passion. I did some sailing many years ago, crewing for others around the Solent, a couple of holidays sailing around the Ionian and Aegian and crewed on The William McCann, (an old wooden fishing smack) on crossings to The Scillys and The Friesian Iles. Following a long break I recently took an RYA Competent Crew course to check I still enjoyed it and still had good sea legs. I loved it and am now looking for opportunities to meet some interesting people, experience some new boats, have some fun and build my skills. I am easy going and happy happy to muck in with crew duties and cooking. I am retired so really flexible about times and locations. I look forward to meeting some interesting people. Cheers
