My name is Chiara. I am originally from Italy. I recently concluded the winter season as a tour guide in Rovaniemi, Finland, and I am currently based in Leiden, the Netherlands.
I look forward to sharing my passion for world travelling and outdoor life with guests and colleagues!
From an educational perspective, I am a social scientist and peacebuilder. I am studying for the national exam to become a diplomat, but in the meantime, I work in the hospitality industry.
I bring over 10 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, education, and outdoor roles in international settings. Highlights include working in bars and cafes in Italy, hosting guests at ski resorts, surf houses, and youth hostels in Japan, and leading Arctic tours in Finnish Lapland - my favorite role so far.
I love multicultural teams, adapt quickly, and bring warmth, energy, and professionalism to every job. I will make sure guests feel welcome, inspired and well fed!
