Looking to join a boat as a crew member or friendly travel buddy (under the age of 35)
About me
Hey there! I’m a 25-year-old from Belgium, currently exploring the world and open to new experiences on the water. I’m looking to join a sailing trip, either as a crew member or as a social travel buddy, ideally with someone around my age (20–35) who’s up for shared adventures and a good connection on board.
Why I want to join
I’m not a professional sailor (yet ?), but I’m eager to learn, help out, and contribute in any way I can: cooking, cleaning, keeping watch, nanny, or just bringing positive energy. I’m easygoing, responsible, and love deep conversations as much as silly fun. I’m hoping for an experience that’s more about people, stories, and discovery than just transport.
My background
I’ve worked with kids, in hospitality, and I love being around people. I speak English, Dutch and a bit of French. I’m creative, optimistic, and adaptable. You can count on me to be respectful of your boat and space, and I learn quickly. I’m also very okay with a simple life on board.
Availability
I’m available from end of August 2025 and open to short or longer trips, mainly in Europe (e.g. Mediterranean, Canary Islands, etc.), but flexible depending on the plan. Ideally would be a 2-3 months trip, back home before Christmas.
Looking for
A good vibe with the skipper and crew is most important to me. Ideally, you’re also in your 20s or 30s and open to connecting - not just a ride, but an experience to share. Ideally a paid job on deck, but I would also consider joining if all expenses are covered.
