Novice Crew member
Hi! I’m Mélani, a French-Turkish backpacker currently preparing for a long-term adventure across Latin America and Southeast Asia.
I’m joining Crewbay to experience life at sea, connect with like-minded people, and contribute as a novice crew member. I have one week experience sailing on a catamaran in Croatia. I may be new to sailing, but I’m highly motivated, curious, and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I learn quickly and enjoy being active, whether it’s helping with daily tasks, cooking, keeping night watch, or learning the ropes on deck.
I’m looking to join a welcoming crew and share meaningful time on the water — ideally from October to November 2025, anywhere between Europe, the Canary Islands, Southeast Asia, or Latin America. I’m open to sailing adventures, coastal cruising, or offshore trips, and willing to share costs where reasonable.
