Looking for a Mile building, Competent Crew or Novice Crew position
I am a 54-year-old sailor originally from Hamburg and now living near Oxford in the UK. My career in the offshore wind sector keeps me close to the maritime world. After completing my Day Skipper last year, I am keen to build the confidence, miles, and experience needed to progress toward the Yachtmaster qualification.
People who know me describe me as calm, steady, and easy to get along with. I value clear communication and a cooperative atmosphere on board, and I enjoy working with skippers who are willing to share their knowledge and approach seamanship with a sense of patience and curiosity. With two grown children and a supportive family, I am able to commit to a week or so of crewing. I bring reliability, good humour, and a respectful attitude to any boat.
