Looking for sailboat in Southeast Asia (boarding in February-March) for 2-3 months
Hi! Alex and Marina have been traveling together in Asia for several years, and we dream of continuing our journey at sea. We are currently in India and will be ready to board in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Maldives, Philippines, Seychelles) in February-March.
We are looking for a reliable captain and a sailboat for coastal and ocean sailing.
Alex:
I've been working in software development all my life, and for the past few years I've combined it with a nomadic lifestyle.
10 years ago I went sailing for the first time in a regatta and immediately decided to train as a skipper.
I have a skipper's license, a VHF radio certificate, a Seafarer's Identity Document, and a Basic Safety Training (BST) Certificate.
I have chartered a yacht three times and assembled a crew for sailing regattas and cruises in the Mediterranean Sea, and I have also actioned as a co-skipper. My total time at sea is 13 weeks.
Together with my friend, we built a wood-epoxy sailboat "Roberts 345" for circumnavigation (currently still under construction). I enjoy tennis, trekking and rafting. I love cooking, doing some repairs and construction.
I strive to expand my abilities and meet new interesting people. I respect order and discipline on board.
Marina:
A professional certified massage therapist, proficient in various techniques of therapeutic and relax massage. Medical education - nurse. She cooks wonderfully and creates a cozy atmosphere in new places of residence.
I have a strong desire to improve my skills in sailing, teamwork, and pushing my limits.
My big goal is to sail around the world on my own yacht.
For me, life on a yacht is the best way to learn about and improve myself, see the world from different perspectives, and make new friends.
