Looking for a Novice Crew position

Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew for a transatlantic crossing in october/november 2026 : Europe -> Caribbean.

-> Profile: always positive, calm under pressure, motivated, minimalist, non-smoker, not prone to seasickness.

-> Goal
To cross in an eco-friendly way, without flying, experience something truly unique, and take the time to slow down and fully enjoy the present moment.

-> What I can bring on board

▪︎ Photo & video
I can document the crossing with my video equipment (camera and drone), creating short films and images that highlight the boat, the crew, and the journey, capturing unique memories.

▪︎ First aid
I am trained in basic first aid through certification and personal experience (my mother is a nurse), and I stay calm and responsive in case of need.

▪︎ Life on board
I am fully comfortable taking part in all aspects of onboard life: cooking, cleaning, tidying, day and night watches, and contributing to the onboard expenses.

▪︎ Pre-departure help
I am happy to help before departure with provisioning, organization, and boat preparation.

->About me

▪︎ I discovered a real taste for adventure at 21, when I lived for a year in New Zealand, including six months in a converted car. I learned to surf, hitchhiked for the first time, and worked in the fields under a UV index of 16. Stepping out of my comfort zone is what drives me every day.

▪︎ I do not yet have offshore sailing experience, but I have spent time at sea on my grandfather’s fishing boat. I am highly motivated to learn. I am currently working toward my coastal skipper license and plan to take sailing lessons on a sailboat in Marseille (France) ⛵️

▪︎ I am aware of my current level and make up for it with a strong ability to learn, careful listening, respect for instructions, and a real desire to do things well.

▪︎ I speak French and English fluently and am seriously learning Spanish. I enjoy simple, calm moments as much as good conversations and a positive atmosphere.
When the sea is calm, I’m always up for a card game and ending the day with a sunset.

▪︎ Beyond the excitement of this project, I am fully aware of the physical and mental demands of a transatlantic crossing.
