Experienced Motor Cruiser Owner looking to get practical sailing experience
Hi - I'm interested in finding a position on a sailing Boat. I own my own (Coastal insured)Motor Cruiser which I have had various of over the last 25 plus years. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people! I have experience coastal cruising, my experience has mainly been in motor cruisers although I did some crew work on a racing cat when I was much younger. I have experience in boat building and renovation along with general repairs. I currently own a 29ft motor cruiser which I use for coastal cruising and inland cruising. Have done many hours sport fishing off the African coast and have captained a few fishing charters off the African coast (South Africa and Kenya) including night time cruising. I am looking to get some sailing experience and Blue water experience I am reasonably flexible on availability and duration and would love to cross an ocean. I also cook. I need this experience for a new YouTube channel called Chef on a Boat I am starting next year
