Looking for a sailing experience in Oceania to a paradise island (Tonga, New Caledonia, Fiji…)
I am actually working in a bar in Australia with my boyfriend Enzo (Enzo_pnt). We dream since a long time to live an unforgettable experience on a sailing boat on this side of the world. We are looking for a recreational crewing, a voluntary exchange or anyone looking for friendship leaving from Australia or New Zealand to a pacific Island for a few days/weeks. Best time for us would be June but we are flexible with the dates. We are happy to help with any work. We both have experience as front of house, food and beverage attendant and as housekeeper. I studied bioengineering for 5 years in France, where I also learned about marine biodiversity and ecology. To describe ourselves I would say that we are very positive, enthusiastic, adventurous and open minded people. We love to travel, get to know locals and create unforgettable memories and new friendships. We did several experiences of voluntary work in farms in both New Zealand and Australia. We are physically fit and use to outdoor environment.
I have experience on a boat as I used to sail every summer holiday with my family on my parent’s sailing boat. My longest passage was probably sailing from France to Corsica, including an overnight crossing. We traveled around the island for several days, spent several nights at anchor before resupplying different ports and at the end coming back to mainland. One year we sailed from south of France to Spain.
