Motivâtes amateur sailor looking for offshore sailing expérience
Hi, my name is Jean-Baptiste. I’m French, 50 years old, and I’m looking for a real sailing experience as crew, ideally on an offshore passage or a transatlantic crossing.
I have a small but genuine sailing background. I took sailing courses when I was younger on dinghies such as 420 and 470, and I have always loved boats, the sea and sailing. I understand the basics of wind, manoeuvres and life on board, even if I cannot give an exact number of sea miles.
I’m married and father of two boys, so I’m responsible, reliable and used to being part of a team. I’m not looking for luxury or holidays, but for a meaningful adventure, to learn, help, and share life on board with good people.
I’m motivated, respectful of the skipper’s decisions, easy-going, and happy to help with watches, cooking, cleaning and all daily duties on board.
I would be especially interested in opportunities from Europe, Portugal, Canary Islands or Cape Verde towards the Caribbean.
