Crossing to the Azores (or similar, from Lisbon/Cascais)
I am a Lisbon‑based physics teacher with a growing interest in sailing. I am looking to learn to sail and gain experience. I am open to crew on journeys along the coast of mainland Portugal, to the Azores or Madeira, or even down to the coast of Africa towards Cape Verde.
I have recently qualified as Competent Crew and since then I am regularly sailing on the weekend. I have travelled widely over the course of my life - in part through my work in international schools - and I am adaptable and low‑maintenance, happy in anything from very basic conditions to more comfort as long as there is good teamwork and clear communication on board.
