Looking for an Engineers position or Deckhand
Hi Captains, HOD's and Recruiters, I'm interested in finding a position as an Engineer or Deck/Engineer.
I started as an Engineer in March 2023 on charter vessels in Scotland, in July 2023 I was offered a Engineer position on a new build 24M yacht, as Deckhand/Engineer where I am currently employed.
Having enrolled with Solent university on the SV Second Engineer training course/program, I have my Training Record Book (TRB) in hand and have already completed my AEC1 and 2 qualifications.
My next ideal position would see me move onboard a bigger yacht being a 2nd or 3rd Engineer, where under the guidance of a Chief Engineer, I would have the opportunities to gain the skills and training, knowledge and sea time required to progress through the SV Second Engineer course, gaining the SV Qualification, with the overall ambition to become a Chief Engineer.
I'm also looking forward to meeting and getting to know some new people!
